Xfinity gives you two options to choose from. The basic TV and  X1. The latter is something the company really boasts about. However, both of them offer self-install kits to subscribers. And there are a variety of options in these self- install kits with every option including the basic equipment that you would need to easily install and activate your services.

Xfinity TV includes;

• TV box
• Universal remote
• 2 AA batteries

Not only this but the kit also includes;

• coax cable
• HDMI cable
• power cord

In case you have subscribed to the premium service- X1, you will get a little different self-install kit. All the things included in the kit are what forms a basic X1 kit as well. However, you will receive;

• 2 power cords
• HDMI cable if you have opted for HD service
• 2 coax cables, if you have subscribed to SD service
• X1 DVR packages include the voice remote

Like some of them do and for others, you might have to purchase it separately.

Charter Spectrum

When it comes to equipment, Charter provides the subscribers with modems without charging an extra amount. In fact, the company offers a self-install kit to the subscribers that is the part of the package. But this is valid for customers who qualify for a certain service/package. Apart from this, Spectrum offers a wide range of set-top boxes and remotes as well. You also get an option to lease CableCARDs for an additional payment per month. In case, these equipment do not satisfy your needs, you can purchase compatible modems. The company has a whole list of them.

As long as the DVR service is concerned, TWC charges an extra amount for that. This amount would depend on the number of boxes that you opt for.

Cox

Cincinnati Bell has to offer fiber internet to the residents of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Offering blazing speeds without any downtimes or buffering Fioptics offers speed that can go up to 1 Gbps. The  Fioptics Internet equipment includes:
